How it all started...
House of Healing was launched in 2005 in Dallas, Texas by Pastor Esther Vazquez. The Lord gave Pastor Esther a vision of a multi-cultural church in Oak Cliff, TX. House of Healing began as a home Bible Study attended by Pastor Esther's adult children and their families.
In 2007, Pastor Esther found her helper and co-laborer in Pastor Jose Vazquez, they married and began to serve in ministry side by side.
From there the Lord's hand began to move, taking them from a shared building on Marlborough Avenue to a home church in the Western Park neighborhood of Oak Cliff.
In 2008, while attending a garage sale on the property of Wheatland United Methodist Church on Hampton Road, the Lord urged Pastor Esther and Jose to occupy one of the vacant buildings on the campus. A major restoration project was underway.

A Legacy of Faith, A Future for Hope
In 2013, due to health concerns, Pastors Jose and Esther passed the mantle of leadership to their son and daughter-in-law, Raymond and Paty Delgado, who had faithfully served as youth leaders. Embracing this calling, Pastors Raymond and Paty served diligently in ministry, continuing the vision and mission of House of Healing.
In 2026, the mantle of leadership was passed to Pastors Frank and Yolanda Rico, who now carry the responsibility of leading House of Healing into its next chapter. With a heart for teaching the Word of God, strengthening families, and seeing lives restored, they continue the legacy of faith while embracing the vision God has for the church’s future.
House of Healing remains a multicultural, nondenominational, Bible-based church committed to being a healing community in a broken world. Through every season of leadership, our mission remains the same: to share the love of Christ, bring hope to the hurting, strengthen families, and create a place where lives can be transformed by the power of God.

As House of Healing enters a new season of leadership under Pastors Frank and Yolanda Rico, we look toward the future with faith, expectation, and a commitment to the vision God has entrusted to this house.
Our heart is to continue growing as a multicultural, nondenominational, Bible-based church where the Word of God remains our foundation, families are strengthened, lives are restored, and people are empowered to walk in their God-given purpose.
We envision a church that reaches beyond its walls, serves its community, develops the next generation of believers, and creates an environment where people from every walk of life can encounter the presence of God and experience the transforming power of His love.
As we move forward, we remain committed to building a strong church family rooted in biblical truth, genuine relationships, prayer, discipleship, and service. While seasons of leadership may change, our mission remains steadfast: to be a place of hope, healing, and restoration in a world that desperately needs it.
